Event Registration

Create, edit, and manage events that church attenders can register themselves for through MyChurch


 

Instructional 


Current & Future Events 

Name

Name/Title of the event

Type

Indicates the type of event: Class, Workshop, Study, Retreat, or Other

Date

Date of the event

Reg Open

Date that registrants are able to register via MyChurch for the event

Reg Close

Last day registrants are able to register for event via their MyChurch portal

# Registered

Shows the total number of people registered for the event


+ Add Registration 





Clicking + Add Registration button brings you to a small modal where you enter in the Event Name, Type, and Description. Complete these and click continue. 





Clicking Continue brings you to the Event Details page where you can add in more information such as event date, registration open and close dates, fee & fee type, adult/child registration, and childcare availability and pricing. 




Within  current & future events, the right side of each event row has  5 icons with options to:


Duplicate the Event. This is only for current events. See below in Past Events for directions to duplicate a prior event.


Share Event URL

Copy the below link to share in emails or social media


Use this form to send a survey to all registered adults for the event


Email all members who are registered for the event


Edit event details, two tabs “Overview” and “Fields”


Delete registration. A pop up modal will appear to confirm deletion.



Fields tab: creating a new field will prompt registrants with questions to answer during the registration process. 

Field Title: Type question/information here

Field Type: Options to pick from are text field, drop down menu, textbox, checkbox, or yes/no

Is an answer to this field mandatory?: Apply Yes or No if it’s required the registrant answers the field



Past Events 


Past events are below the current & future events. These events have three of the five icon options: survey, edit, and email.


If you would like to duplicate a past event > click the Edit button [pencil icon] on the event. Change the dates to reflect the new event dates. Click 'Save Updates'. It will no appear in Current & Future Events.


*make sure all event information is accurate for that event as it will go live once you click Save!
